Commercial Occupancy Nearly 90 Percent
Oct 14, 2008
FORT MYERS, Fla. (October 2008) – First Street Village is reaching nearly 90 percent commercial occupancy with the recent additions of: We Scream for Ice Cream, First Street Liquor, Linda Nails, Subway and Platinum Image Spa & Salon.
“First Street Village is on the move and it's the place to be,” said Joe Cameratta, CEO of Cameratta Properties. “Despite an uncertain economy, all plans for First Street Village are moving forward successfully and we anticipate more exciting things to come.”
The redevelopment of the River District during the past two years has proven to be a success. With the revitalization of business corridors, continued special events and eclectic businesses all within walking distance, the original Andre Duany plan, from 2002, is coming together.
Since First Street Village broke ground in the fall of 2006, phase I of the build out, including: Publix Supermarket, First Watch Restaurant and the new townhomes now available, have sparked excitement in the overall community.
Cameratta Properties, developer of First Street Village and High Point Place luxury towers, have worked diligently with Regency Centers Corporation, a leading national owner, operator, and developer of grocery-anchored and community shopping centers, to make this build out possible.
First Street Village has approximately 86 percent of its total commercial square footage leased, or 48,448 out of 54,926.
